Hills Nolan is a dynamic law firm servicing the Durham Region in the areas of family, real estate and wills and estates law.

**Estates Clerk**

This position requires a high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro and PC Law, as well as relevant court procedures.

Daily responsibilities will include new client intake, file management, on-going client communication, preparation and filing of any court documents, and reporting to and taking instruction from the supervising lawyer.

**Family Law Clerk**

This position requires a high degree of proficiency with the following:

- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Pro
- PC Law
- DivorceMate
- Caselines and OneKey
- The _Family Law Rules_ and relevant legislation
- Family court processes and procedures

Daily responsibilities will include management of calendars for two lawyers, new client intakes, file management, on-going client communication, service and filing of court documents, preparation of general correspondence, drafting court pleadings, and reporting to and taking instructions from the supervising lawyers. You must also be proficient with the preparation of court documents such as 17F and 14C Confirmations, 14B Motions and draft orders. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of DivorceMate calculations, drafting Form 13 and 13.1 Financial Statements and compiling and reviewing Financial Disclosure Briefs. You must also have excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.

Please note that both positions will require demonstration of knowledge base, written language skills and document preparation during the interview process.

**Salary**: $53,843.00-$58,365.00 per year
