**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**RESPONSBILITIES**:

- Assist in maintaining an organized filing system for all appropriate documents
- Assist in accounts receivable and accounts payables; prepare billings and backup documentation
- Support in day-to-day accounting activities including month end (i.e., journal entries, reconciliations)
- Provide concise and accurate administration/preparation of purchase orders and/or other required documents involved with the procurement process
- Investigate any Purchase Order discrepancies
- Assist in updating manuals and procedures to improve process flow documentations
- Perform other duties as required

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- High school diploma or post-graduate certificate in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1-year experience in accounts receivables, accounts payables and general bookkeeping
- A combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of Sage 300 accounting software is an asset
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Able to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality and diplomacy
- Able to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines.
- Able to use general office equipment.

**REQUIRMENTS**:

- Approximately 35 hours per week for 8 weeks
- Available during the day - Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 3:30PM
- Hourly rate $18/hr
