Delta, Canada Reach Child and Youth Development Society Full time

We are looking for a Infant Development Consultant for 25 - 30 hours per week to join our Infant Development Program (IDP) team. The primary focus is to work as a part of a team of professionals who provide services to families and children from birth to 3 years old who have developmental needs in Delta.
- **Key duties and responsibilities**:_

Family Consultation and Support
- Home visits
- Completing formal and informal child assessments using a variety of tools and the ability to interpret assessment results into written developmental reports.
- Planning interventions to promote optimal development and secure infant attachment.
- Assist families in accessing services and community programs.
- Facilitating IDP playgroups.
- **Administrative and Team Duties**:_
- Keep well-organized and up-to-date records and chart notes.
- Complete home visit records for families during or after each visit.
- Write Family and Child Support Plans and developmental assessments.
- Participate in community outreach by attending various community groups.
- Attend and contribute to monthly team meetings.
- **Qualifications**_

Education and Experience:

- Graduate of an accredited university or college with a degree in a field related to child development or equivalent.
- Experience working with families, infants, and young children.
- Personal Qualifications and Requirements:

- Demonstrated working knowledge of family-centered service, early intervention, child development, disabilities, family support, and community-based services.
- Ability to work in a non-judgmental, supportive manner with a wide variety of families.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adhere to Reach code of ethics, policies and procedures, and health and safety.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.53-$37.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
