What you’ll do

The Research Associate reports to the Manager of Analytical Development to complete a wide range of analytical procedures involved in the production of Lipid Nanoparticles (LNP). Precision NanoSystems is a global leader in technologies, solutions and services for the development of lipid nanoparticle genomic medicines, including mRNA vaccines and therapeutics. We support (bio)pharma companies who are ushering in the next wave of genomic medicines in infectious diseases, cancer and rare diseases. - Perform routine bioanalytical techniques, including, but not limited to, UHPLC-CAD, UHPLC-UV, LC-MS, Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), Agarose Gel Electrophoresis, SDS-PAGE, and Colorimetric assays.
- Prepare detailed and accurate analytical reports for PNI’s clients
- Help develop novel analytical methods or method alterations as necessary
- Maintain appropriate lab records and documentation
- Provide recommendations to the formulation scientists as warranted by the analytical data
- Leverage expertise in biomolecule (Eg. Nucleic Acids, proteins, mABs), lipid, and excipient (Buffers, stabilizers, etc.) chemistry to improve nanoparticle formulations
- Aid in the maintenance of analytical equipment, consumable stocks, and data integrity
- Ensure client and company confidentiality is maintained

Who you are
- BSc or MSc in biochemistry, chemistry, or other related field with 4 or 1 years’ wet lab experience in the biotech industry, respectively.
- Expertise in a diverse range of bioanalytical techniques, including, but not limited to, (U)HPLC, LC-MS, Capillary Electrophoresis, Gel Electrophoresis, and SDS-PAGE
- Strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, and biomolecules is essential
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and _in vitro _assays is an advantage
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self motivated and independent work ethic.
