This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef looking for a new role in an authentic Thai cuisine with Thai select award acclaimed. You will be working as a full-time chef.

**The Position**

As a chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food and ensuring a smooth operation on a day-to-day basis.

**Requirements**:
Minimum 1 year prior experience as a chef
Minimum 2 year prior experience as a cook
Strong leadership & management skills
Have a car
Bilingual

**Tasks and Responsibilities**

1. Kitchen Management: Overseeing the kitchen operations, including managing kitchen staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring a smooth workflow. This also involves maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the kitchen.

2. Food Preparation: Ensuring that all ingredients are properly prepared, measured, and ready for cooking. This includes cutting, marinating, seasoning, and cooking techniques.

3. Cooking: Executing cooking techniques to prepare a wide range of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, desserts, and side dishes. This involves monitoring cooking times, temperatures, and flavors to ensure consistent quality.

4. Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels of food supplies, ingredients, and kitchen equipment. This includes efficiently ordering and restocking items as needed to avoid shortages and waste.

5. Quality Control: Ensuring that all dishes meet the established quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and portion sizes. This may involve tasting and adjusting flavors, as well as inspecting the final presentation of each dish. Customer satisfaction is the core objective of Thammada.

6. Collaboration: Working closely with other kitchen staff; line cooks and dishwasher and front staff; manager and servers to ensure efficient teamwork and timely execution of orders while be able to communicate feedback with front staff.

7. Creativity: Creating special seasonal menus that are appealing to customers while considering cost-effectiveness factor. Also continuously exploring new ingredients, cooking techniques, and recipes to bring uniqueness to the menu offerings.

8. Solve the problem: be able to overcome the daily issues or difficulties that might occur on daily basis to enable smooth operation including ensuring the equipment are well-functional.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 per year
