Join us at Westerner Park and be a part of the exposition magic We're on the lookout for enthusiastic souls to join our team as Cash Office Clerks. Here's what you'll be doing:

- Maintain safe balance: Verify safe at shift open/close, submit Safe Count Report to Finance Supervisor.
- Key management: Oversee keys for concession and bar locations.
- Cash handling: Retrieve cash drops, count money, reconcile totals with receipts.
- Electronic transactions: Verify and balance credit card transactions, investigate discrepancies.
- Server over/short: Record and resolve discrepancies, notify Finance Supervisor.
- Bank deposit: Prepare money for deposit, arrange Brinks pickup bi-weekly.
- Event roaming: Provide cash change and receipt paper services under time constraints.
- Daily floats: Count and prepare floats for outlets and Tickets Alberta Office.
- Paperwork management: Submit reports, track tip payouts, assist in training, follow business procedures.
- Other duties as assigned

Sounds like something you'll enjoy doing? Here's what we'll need from you:

- Cash handling experience, accurate and expedient use of business machines, that is, bill counters, coin counters and calculators
- 1 - 2 years data entry and cash handling experience preferred
- High level of comfort with technology
- Knowledge and proficiency using spreadsheets in SharePoint specifically Microsoft Excel and Outlook mail
- Proven ability to work with different levels of management and staff
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Period of employment: July 17th to 21st, 2024, may be required to attend a training shift prior to July 17th.
Rate of Pay: $16.32 to $17.84 per hour
