Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of space
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station as well as team service
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs or requests
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or customer service role is preferred
- Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
- Exceptional hospitality and guest service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic menu items
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the establishment as needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week
