**Job Purpose**

As part of our ever-expanding work force, we are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our Parking Enforcement team as a Supervisor.

The Site Supervisor provides supervision, oversight and direction to a Commissionaires Team, involving Street Parking and Parking Lot Enforcement.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Works with the team to deliver services to sites and locations, as directed. Actively works to maintain a safe work environment for all staff
- Actively monitor and enforce compliance of approved policy, work processes and procedures as outlined in Post Orders as well as updates as needed
- Provide active supervision and monitoring of contract for compliance and operational efficiency
- Proactively advocates for business stakeholders, seeking win-win solutions for the client, the Corps and the employee
- Advise Corps management on employee and client needs, and relay important information efficiently while maintaining quality documentation and archives
- Analyzes and coordinates client requests and service delivery to ensure it is optimal, balancing the needs and capabilities of the team and the Corps
- Work closely and proactively with Resource Specialists and other Corps management to ensure stability and consistency with scheduling in a manner that effectively manages overtime, reflects site training needs, staff changes, changes to client sites, and internal occurrences
- Performance assessments, development and succession plans are in place with identified individuals for manpower planning, increased loyalty & retention while managing unwanted turnover
- Promote and communicate the success of the team and individual contributions, maximizing opportunities to highlight their efforts that go above and beyond
- Takes action to rectify identified short comings with coach and counsel dialogue, mentoring, and implementing progressive disciplinary actions or difficult conversations, keeping HR and managers consistently informed and involved
- Oversees and validates site orientations / OJT requirements, including completing OJT Records for new guards assigned to the site
- Works collaboratively with FSs, CSMs and RMs (as applicable) to report incidents and issues such as service failures, serious injury / events, critical security incident that have the potential to adversely affect the Division as directed in the Crisis Management Matrix

**Knowledge Requirements**
- Valid Alberta Security Guard License
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Current Emergency First Aid
- Knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards Code
- Must have strong oral/written English fluency
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Manage and prioritize numerous important tasks that are time critical
- Former RCMP and Military Experience is considered a strong asset

**Work Conditions**
- Work hours may vary but are generally Monday - Friday, 8:15AM - 4:15 PM
- Local travel may be required. Site visits should be conducted using a ‘marked Commissionaires vehicle’ as applicable.
