**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of planned shutdowns, ensuring they are completed within the designated timeframe and budget.
- Liaise with various departments and stakeholders to develop detailed project plans for shutdowns and turnarounds, including budgets, resources, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Manage a team of skilled workers and subcontractors, providing direction and supervision to ensure work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
- Implement and uphold strict safety standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and local, provincial, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate logistics, material management, equipment rentals, and manpower allocation during the shutdown period.
- Regularly communicate progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders and management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the shutdown process.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial setting, preferably with a focus on shutdown planning.
- Boilermaker trade certification or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience managing a team of skilled tradespeople.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and adhere to budgets and timelines.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by project needs.
