**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform all butchery tasks including cutting, trimming, deboning, and packaging various types of meat.
- Create a variety of high-quality sausages using traditional and modern recipes.
- Operate and maintain smokehouse equipment to produce smoked meats, ensuring optimal flavor and texture.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to ensure adequate stock of meat and supplies.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and develop new products.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including HACCP guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Butcher, with a strong emphasis on sausage making and smokehouse operations.
- In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, preparation techniques, and food safety standards.
- Ability to operate and maintain butchery and smokehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in meat cutting or a related field.
- Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
- Knowledge of new and traditional sausage recipes and smoking techniques.
- Familiarity with local and federal food safety regulations.

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
