We are looking for a compassionate receptionist with exceptional communication and customer service skills. Job Duties:
- Take calls, triage cases based on urgency and schedule accordingly.
- Be confident at handling animals that are brought in for appointments and surgeries and assign them appropriate rooms and doctors.
- Create estimates and be responsible for veterinary billing. Training will be provided.
- Deal with suppliers, distributers and pharmaceutical representatives.
- Oversee pet insurance claims and ensure they are submitted to insurance companies appropriately and accurately.
- Conduct follow-up calls to check on patients after discharge, answer client questions and direct call to the appropriate doctor or technician if there are any questions or concerns.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
