**ABOUT THE POSITION**
We are looking for CYWs and SSW who are reliable, committed and able to work in a Group home

**DUTIES**:

- Serves as a Child and Youth Worker and maintains control of and accounts for the whereabouts and safety of children and youth
- Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities that meet the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs for program participants
- Participates as part of the treatment team, assisting in implementing the client’s care plans, including communicating any key issues to the Program Coordinator or designate
- Complete documentation and reports as required
- Provides support in the day-to-day operations of the facility as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma in Child and Youth Care or Social Service Worker and a minimum of 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current certificate in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED level C
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), as well as the ability to use office equipment efficiently
- UMAB Training

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Vulnerable Sector Check (can be organized upon hire)
- Be able to work flexible hours including **mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends**:

- **Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle**

It is important to abide by the facilities COVID-19 guidelines while on shift such as, wearing a face mask and shield during work hours, completing daily screening, pre shift antigen testing (tests can be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 8-40 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
