**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for powder coating customer products.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned between paint changes to eliminate cross-contamination.
- Control process parameters - ensuring compliance with laid down procedures.
- Check parts exiting the booth to ensure parts are covered properly.
- Inform management if parts are not loaded properly, the metal is not clean, or has writing, burrs, rust, or any issues with paint coverage.
- Adhere to and follow cleaning and maintenance schedules, including booth and cyclone.
- Inform management of all equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to 5S principles - Keep equipment clean, and paint area neat and tidy - ensuring all tools and equipment are in their designated place.
- Monitor paint inventory; inform supervisor if stocks are low
- Attention to detail following paint instructions
- Documentation - manual & computer entries
- Assist in other areas/departments as required
- Other duties as assigned by management

**Required Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or GED - Most employers require at least a high school education or equivalent.
- Use and care of powder coating guns & equipment.
- Experience with Gema Equipment or similar
- General use of computers
- Detail-oriented, organized, self motivated.
- Good Physical Stamina - Painting can be physically demanding, requiring standing, bending, and working with hands above the head for extended periods.

**Hours**

Full-time position with occasional overtime, depending on project deadlines and production needs. Some weekend or shift work may be required.

Located at Building C-24 Benfield Dr., St. Catharines, Ontario L2S 3V5 Canada

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
