**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Painting Duties**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, priming, or masking as required.
- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and correct any imperfections or inconsistencies.
- Maintain painting equipment (e.g., spray guns, compressors), ensuring tools are cleaned and functioning correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols to handle chemicals and hazardous materials.
- Keep accurate records of paint batches, materials used, and job completion timelines.

**Forklift Operation Duties**:

- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials, components, and finished products within the facility.
- Move pallets, crates, and other heavy materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift, checking for mechanical issues and ensuring safe operation.
- Adhere to warehouse or factory safety protocols, including proper stacking and securing of loads.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and placing materials in the correct locations.
- Support production and painting teams by transporting materials as needed.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Certification or experience in forklift operation, with knowledge of safe material handling practices.
- Familiarity with painting equipment, tools, and techniques, including surface preparation and finishing.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality painting and safe forklift operation.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to both painting (chemical handling, PPE) and forklift operation (OSHA guidelines).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in industrial painting or coating (e.g., spray painting, powder coating).
- Certification for forklift operation.
- Experience working in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and work in physically demanding environments.
- Comfortable working in conditions that may involve fumes, chemicals, or high temperatures.
- Capable of standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Ability to wear protective gear such as respirators, gloves, and safety goggles

**Hours**

Full-time position with occasional overtime, depending on project deadlines and production needs. Some weekend or shift work may be required.

**Salary**

Starting at $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
