Dias Airborne offers unique airborne technologies powered by SQUID sensor systems. The QMAGT system is a full tensor magnetic gradiometer that produces unrivalled data quality and directional information. Our QAMT system is a passive-source EM system that produces higher resolution results to greater depth. These systems are deployed using a helicopter and provide significant advantages to our clients.

Responsibility:

- data quality control, processing, and daily reporting during data acquisition
- processing data to final and producing final products to meet project specifications and scheduled timeframe
- travel to the field as required to complete in-field processing during acquisition
- work flexible hours as the scheduled and workload dictates
- other tasks to support the department manager as required

Technical:

- be familiar with a variety of quality control checks and metrics for flight path and data quality
- consistently carry out quality control checks on data to ensure the data meets the project specifications
- follow processing procedures, and document results as required
- deliver products and reports in a timely fashion
- maintain data backups
- provide feedback and recommendations for improvement of procedures and standards
- software testing as required

Communication:

- Communicate accurately and consistently with clients, management and field personnel
- Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the status of the project deliverables
- Carry out client data presentations and discussions as required
- Timely and accurate reporting on any equipment issues

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics preferred
- Professional designation as a geoscientist or engineer preferred
- Three years of processing experience in the airborne geophysical industry preferred
- Experience with MT/Natural sources preferred
