**The Opportunity**:
As the Production Foreman in the Slave Lake District you will be responsible for safely leading a team of ~40 people in efficiently and cost effectively managing day to day field and battery operations. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent you will be in a pivotal position to deliver value and ensure that we live up to our Mission Statement of Doing it Right.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Promote a culture of safety excellence by following the SMS manual and coordinating and facilitating training programs and safety meetings
- Maximize value by optimizing well production and facility throughput in accordance with corporate and regulatory standards by working closely with the Assistant Foreman, Maintenance, Engineering, and other support teams
- Maintain runtime performance of > 98% while driving continuous improvement as it relates to people development, safety, production, and costs
- Maintain an effective relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with production and facility engineering staff to provide input into development, scope and project design
- Define the scope and oversee the completion of facility turnarounds as necessary
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual operating budgets while maintaining cost control

**Other Details**:

- Job location: Wabasca, AB - Slave Lake District
- Shift schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off, 10 hour days
- Camp based - must live within 4 hours of the field and possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Flexibility to respond to operational priorities and adjust schedule to accommodate urgent work on evenings and weekends is required
- Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Regular Policy

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Typically 10+ years of Oil & Gas industry experience, including 5+ years of supervisory/leadership experience
- Technical degree, technical diploma or relevant trade certification is considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability in promoting a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is considered an asset
- Knowledge of polymer flooding or other Enhanced Oil Recovery methods
- Proven expertise in: Safety leadership, Operational excellence, Leadership & supervisory responsibilities, Financial prudence and Strategic awareness & planning
