Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated New Equipment Superintendent to drive productivity and the performance of new equipment projects for the branch and customers. The NE Superintendent will be responsible for the new equipment business, including field operations, customer satisfaction and overall general business management.

Essential Responsibilities
- Direct, supervise, and lead the performance of field operations for the New Equipment installation side of Otis’ business
- Supervise construction mechanics and installation teams
- Achieve performance to estimate targets
- Ensure all projects do not exceed cost estimates
- Accurately analyze situations and assist in developing contingencies for estimates
- Conduct field education training ensuring that we create and maintain a safe working environment
- Regularly perform field safety audits, jobsite inspections, and develop site safety/logistics plans
- Coordinate all material deliveries and issuing purchase orders
- Develop and maintain professional and productive relationships with co-workers, project management teams, field employees, clients, government authorities, and others in contact with the job
- Forecast and schedule labor resources ensuring successful project completion, maintaining customer quality assurance, and improving efficiencies
- Administration and interpretation of contract writing and will perform customary construction process duties that include managing billing, consultant and contractors’ payments, processing RFIs and optimizing change order opportunities, as well as maximizing project cash coverage
- Able to work shiftwork as necessary

Education / Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred

Basic Qualifications
- Hoisting & Rigging experience
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and good decision-making skills with strong time management and organizational skills
- Escalator experience preferred

- Dispenser la formation au personnel en clientèle en vue de créer et de maintenir un environnement de travail sûr.
- Réaliser des contrôles de sécurité et des inspections en clientèle et élaborer des plans de sécurité et de logistique.
- Coordonner les livraisons de matériel et émettre des bons de commande.
- Développer et maintenir des relations professionnelles et productives avec les collègues, les équipes de gestion de projet, les employés en clientèle, les clients, les autorités gouvernementales et toute autre personne en lien avec le travail.
- Prévoir et planifier les ressources en main-d'œuvre pour assurer la bonne exécution des projets dans les délais fixés, maintenir l'assurance qualité du client et améliorer l'efficacité.
