Ganotec is a full service, heavy industrial contractor serving the industrial sector across Canada. Ganotec typically self performs all major disciplines including, civil, structural steel erection, heavy mechanical equipment installation, process piping and electrical / instrumentation and controls. We conduct our business through a variety of commercial contract styles including full turnkey, EPC, design build, T&M and conventional discipline packages. We have always been a strong proponent of “partnering”, working in collaboration with owners, major equipment suppliers and engineers at the early stages of the project development phase to allow for a more cost-effective execution strategy for the project. This role is for our projects in Quebec, Canada. Our office is based in Montreal.
Mentor and help to grow Jr. Review and approve the balance of Foremen, journeymen and laborer’s composite labor rates
Manage contract administration (subcontractor/field management meeting for communication)
Develop a program to maintain good client relations involving staff on site
Initiate and attend supplementary and regular meeting with client for problem resolution and planning
Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover
Ensure that all performance evaluations and completed in a timely fashion for direct reports
Recommend, where appropriate, organizational, policy and procedural or staff changes
8+ years' construction experience with 8+ years being in an Electrical Superintendent / Leadership capacity (preferably working on infrastructure industriel or hydroelectric projects)
~ Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes regarding Kiewit’s policies, procedures and software programs. 
~ Excellent organizational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. 
~ Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
~ Functional knowledge of English (written and verbal) is considered as an asset since mobility across provinces in Canada is required. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
