**ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE**

The Accounting Associate is responsible for general accounting duties. Did we mention that you will, be responsible for the accuracy of promotional expenses and cancelations for two properties and assist with general accounting duties? **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Investigate, resolve and respond to guest inquiries
- Review daily cancellations report, ensuring no show and cancellations fees are properly recorded
- Analyze daily food and beverage promotions and investigate exceptions
- Assist with Accounts Receivable as needed
- Ensure compliance with established policies and operating procedures

- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- Currently working toward completion of an accounting designation or diploma.
- Strong mathematical skills and high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of hotel operations. Previous experience doing night audit in a hotel is an asset
- Strong computer skills, proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with little supervision
- Work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude at all times
- Be highly motivated to provide excellent service to both internal and external customers
- Salary/Wage: $60,000 annually
