- **Role Summary**:_

Our Barrie location is currently recruiting for an Operations Supervisor that will be responsible for overseeing the branch end-to-end operations, drive process improvements and deliver superior customer service. The Operations Supervisor will be located in Barrie.
- **Key Job Responsibilities**:_
- Oversee and provide leadership, mentorship, supervision, coordination and training to all Barrie team members.
- Perform customer visits to assist and support as needed.
- Prepare and implement schedules for alarm inspections, deficiencies, service, verifications, small contracts at the prescribed intervals to meet scheduling KPI’s.
- Effectively coordinate and verify with our field staff, customers, contracts, vendors and external resources on date/time and details regarding upcoming field service appointments.
- Ensure field service staff are effectively and efficiently scheduled, appointment scopes align with technician skills required to complete the work and to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Verify and Approve timesheets for Barrie technicians and staff.
- Attending customer meetings to support sales as required.
- Create Purchase orders for parts/sub-contractors and review reports submitted by technician and Subcontractors.
- Verify the job is completed as per scope, parts are issued in the system, Subcontractor’s POs are closed and close the job in JDE.
- Track invoices and invoice disputes. Resolve contracts in JDE through Rollback, credit and rebills.
- Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP) and maintain accurate backlog management
- including but not limited to Job Status and approving & reconciling of purchase orders for third-party suppliers.
- Implement MFA (Market Feedback Analysis) processes, meet with customers to mitigate and resolve concerns and increase customer satisfaction.
- Provide Monthly revenue forecast as per plan and work towards exceeding forecast.
- Responsible for all operations duties including ordering parts, receiving/ shipping parts and issuing parts to jobs.
- Provide leadership and support in maintaining EH&S and Ethics policies, monthly meetings, documentation/reports, along with conducting audits and training.
- Perform inspections of company vehicles and inventory levels.
- Drive employee development plans and training initiatives that help team members to achieve their goals.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Must have 5 years of experience in the Fire industry or a related discipline.
- Previous supervisor/leadership experience preferred.
- CFAA Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Working knowledge of all applicable codes and standards.
- Post-Secondary diploma or degree in building systems, electronic technology, or equivalent knowledge/ work experience an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of Edwards Fire Products.
- Proficient computer skills (Office 365, Cloud, & other web-based app usage basics).
- Basic understanding of WIP reporting and Fire Project financials.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision/self-motivated and has a desire to work on a winning team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective at building relationships - with a strong client service orientation
- Adaptable to changing environments.
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey a message in an organized, clear, and effective manner.
- Goes beyond job requirements to seek opportunities and generate ideas for improvements.
- Experience in using JDE or Microsoft Dynamics computer programs valued.
