**Your responsibilities and tasks**:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Gain expert knowledge of the features and benefits of the GEA Robotic systems.
- Become the GEA FT expert on the “Robotic Milking Concept”
- Become “Good Cow Milking Expert” and have basic hygiene knowledge
- Analyze and review pre-start-up herds and readily prepare the farmer for the transition and recommend the necessary steps to follow before start-up.
- Consult existing customers on herd management/performance and Software related issues.
- Support and become an expert in Dairyplan, DairyNet, and CowScout herd management software, as well as have an understanding of competitors herd management software.
- Feed setup
- Report adjustments/ Custom creation
- Management adjustments
- CQM knowledge for Canada
- Assist technical support team and perform software updates as needed.
- Responsible for reporting, evaluating and follow-up on farm visits/ start-ups and consultations with dealer and farmers.
- Monitor and assist with current test farm installations.
- Assist the dealers with zero base surveys, and herd management related troubleshooting.
- Act as the communication liaison between the dealer and GEA Farm Technologies.
- Communicate with management by means of call reports, progress reports, and dealer evaluations.
- Cooperate and communicate with sales personnel by making them aware of new projects, potential problems or anything concerning their area of responsibility.
- Document and report the need for new products, design changes, and software changes to existing products to your manager.
- Attend trade shows and industry meetings when needed.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience in Dairy/ Animal Science
- Demonstrated leadership ability to lead people and get results.
- Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have clear and concise communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Strong computer skills and basic networking knowledge are necessary
- 60% travel
