Continuous Improvement Specialist

Job responsibilities include:
- analyzing and challenging existing procedures in areas of responsibility throughout the facility, making recommendations, and working with the operational teams to integrate solutions;
- providing guidance and support to operational management by identifying progress opportunities, supporting the Michelin Manufacturing Way, and helping to develop the site annual business plan and progress plan;
- developing, implementing and improving manufacturing processes, tools, equipment and work activities, to meet and exceed the site's safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives; and,
- participation in facility personnel planning, productivity planning, machine capacity analysis, process efficiency analysis, project management, expansion needs analysis, material flow analysis, developing and maintaining engineered time standards, value stream mapping, process flow and line balancing.
Requirements for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma;
- exposure to digitalization and proficiency with tools such as Office BI Apps, OsiSoft PI, Raspberry Pi, etc; and,
- extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
