**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced **Manager, SEO & Content Strategy to join our Digital Platforms** team

Reporting to the Director, Digital Platforms, you will play a key role in leading and developing the SEO and Optimization team in driving success for leading Canadian insurance brands including belairdirect and Intact Insurance. You’re recognized for your capacity to influence a team and multiple stakeholders to easily overcome obstacles.

**What you’ll do**:

- ** Define and own the vision for SEO and conversion optimization. **In collaboration with your team members, you will set and execute the long-term vision and strategy for multiple websites to drive organic growth and outperform the competition. You will refine the strategy and support your team in translating the vision in an actionable roadmap.
- ** Communicate to stakeholders across the organization**. You will build strong relationships with your peers, external partners, and executives across our organization. You’ll communicate your strategy and performance insights to proactively highlight opportunities to stakeholders. You will proactively manage communication and impact upstream, laterally, and downstream. You will help your team members craft and present compelling presentations to support your projects while communicating and keeping track of trends, including algorithm updates and competitors that effect SEO and growth performance.
- ** Support your team in the execution of deliverables. **You will help your team prioritize their initiatives, balancing our customers needs and our organization’s objectives. You will help remove obstacles to ensure superior execution and will allocate resources where needed. You will anticipate issues and proactively respond with effective solutions to enable the team to deliver.
- ** Collaborate with team members within Marketing and across the company. **You will work hand in hand with your peers and build strong relationships across the company. You will create a stimulating and inclusive environment that fosters collaboration, innovation and increases productivity. Drive cross-channel synergies with paid acquisition to reach our growth targets.

- In-depth knowledge of on-page and technical SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.
- Perform regular technical forensic audits and inspections of the site to identify on-page, off-page, site infrastructure and technical issues.
- Develop detailed technical SEO requirements that serve as actionable roadmaps for web developers and product managers, ensuring seamless implementation of recommendations under your leadership.
- Prioritize technical SEO issues based on sound business cases, ensuring projects align with individual and team goals.
- A data-driven and customer-centric professional, who can turn data points into concrete insights and recommendations that improve performance and customer experience.
- Solves problems using innovative ways to improve, take risks and to challenge the status quo.
- Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Site Improve, BrightEdge and others.
- Proficiency with analytics tools Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and data visualization tools, such as Power BI.

**What you have**:

- At least 10 years of experience in SEO, CRO, digital strategy, and growth techniques.
- At least 5 years of leading a high performing team.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, product management or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- A demonstrated track record of increasing rankings, share of voice, traffic, and revenue through managing and executing SEO and conversion optimization strategies.
- A track record of achieving ambitious targets, leading multiple large-scale projects while respecting timelines.
- Excellent communication with ability to summarize key highlights and present information in simple terms.
