What do you need to succeed?

Job title - IBM iSeries (AS400) System Operations and Administration - Remote

Must haves’ skills

IBM i (AS400) technical support or operator experience.

Assist with system administration

Assist with Production releases.

Monitor system backups / maintenance

Perform table restores and disaster testing

Fix system problems / performance issues.

Perform DB2 updates as requested by developers

**Assist with production issues / failures. Ie**: DB connections / slowdowns.

Resolves any issues/requests for DB journaling on System

Handling ad hoc job submission (batch activity)

Perform updates to IBM Job scheduler

Nice to haves’ skills
- Support setup & configuration of printers.

Change Control Updates & Configuration (Aldon)

Support / Resolve firewall issues.
