Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Schedule patient appointments

**Skills**:

- Proficient in Open Dental is an asset
- Sedation Module is an asset
- Strong dental assisting skills, including knowledge of various procedures and instruments

Hours of the position

Tuesday 1-7

Thursday 1-7

Friday 8-4

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. Your skills will be essential in providing quality patient care. Your ability to work with sedated patients and assist with surgical procedures will also be highly valued. If you are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you join our team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
