**The Role**:
As an Assistant Manager with a technical specialization, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our store while providing expert guidance to customers on computer systems and solutions. You are expected to lead by example, foster a culture of excellence within our technical team and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work alongside the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and store objectives.
- Provide expert knowledge of computer hardware, software, and related technologies.
- Assist in managing and mentoring the technical staff to maintain high service standards.
- Perform technical services, including diagnostics, repairs, upgrades in shop and remotely
- Handle complex customer queries and provide tailored recommendations.
- Implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency within the store.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant legislation.
- Manage inventory control and order supplies for the store and service area.
- Step into the role of acting Store Manager as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Technical certification or diploma in Computer Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical support role within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 1 year in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Knowledge of current computer technology, components, and industry trends.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide hands-on solutions.
- Excellence in customer service with an ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Familiar with inventory management systems and common retail operations.
- Experience with Quickbooks or N-Central RMM would be an asset.
- Legal eligibility to work in Ontario, Canada.
