As a full-service heavy equipment dealership with 16 strategically located branches, Vermeer Canada is committed to helping our customers maximize their business opportunities, increase productivity, and minimize downtime.
**Position Overview**
Are you passionate about developing relationships and influencing the aftermarket customer experience? We’re looking for a leader to support a team who is eager to drive exceptional customer experience while maintaining profitable parts and service operations.
**What you will do**
- Develop and engage talent through relevant training programs and coaching opportunities.
- Develop and maintain quality supplier relationships to ensure parts inventory requirements are being met.
- Ensure all facilities, including technician work areas and the equipment yard are maintained in an orderly and safe manner.
- Facilitate budgeting processes, including projecting sales and profit margins.
- Monitor profit and loss statements to ensure key performance indicators are being met.
- Ensure adherence to overall company policies and procedures, with emphasis on health and safety regulations.
- Develop and influence a healthy team culture through daily leadership of the parts and service departments.
- Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators.
- Manage warranty claim processes in partnership with service technicians and factory personnel.
**What we are looking for**
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, with a desire to take initiative and accept responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to maintain a professional presence, ensuring satisfactory resolutions to problems or concerns.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Ability to manage work order, quality, parts order, and purchase order processes.
- Service experience and heavy equipment operation is an asset. Travel Minimal travel is expected of this position.
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
