**Specialty Instructor - Older Adult Fitness**
(Contract / March 4 - June 30, 2024 / $40.00/hr.)
- The City of Pickering is looking for a seasoned and enthusiastic instructor, specifically catering to the
- unique needs and interests of older adults. We are seeking an individual with a wealth of experience
- and a passion for teaching, dedicated to creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere tailored to the
- preferences of our mature community members. If you are an experienced instructor who values the
- importance of fostering a positive and engaging environment for older adults, we invite you to bring
- your expertise to our team and play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and enrichment of our
- mature residents. Join us in making a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults through
- purposeful and enjoyable learning experiences
- **Successful applicants will possess the following**:
- A minimum of 1 year experience teaching group fitness classes.
- Strong communication, leadership and customer service skills.
- Must be available for various shifts including evenings and weekends.
- A satisfactory vulnerable sector screening as a condition of employment.
