Contracting Specialist - Hybrid (can be based out of Woodbridge, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg or Montreal for in-office days)

The Contracting Specialist role offers a variety of responsibilities, and we are seeking someone who ‘gets’ customer service and is looking for a challenging role in a fun environment. This role also offers the opportunity to build strong relationships with our clients (Insurance Advisors) and carriers (Insurance Companies) through seamless customer service and support. **What your day will look like**:
Encourage and help advisors register for the industry standard contracting and compliance software, APEXA. Responsibilities include:
Assist advisors complete their profiles

Assist advisors complete annual attestations

**Process carrier contracts. Responsibilities include**:
Provide guidance to the advisor, as required

Follow up with carriers, as required

Process advisor agreements on buying/selling their business

Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with carriers, working in partnership with them

Assist with other contracting projects and duties, as assigned

**You will be successful in this role if you have**:
A positive attitude, the constant desire to help others, curiosity, and the ability to deliver consistent performance

Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite & most online meeting platforms

Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)

Experience working in the Life Insurance industry is an asset

Experience using APEXA and WealthServ an asset
