**Job Summary**:
The Amusement Operations Coordinator helps to oversee amusement operational activities, manage daily tasks, and problem-solve to ensure that everything functions smoothly. The Coordinator will work closely with the Amusement Manager to optimize operational processes and workflows, and ensure that the company is meeting its goals in an efficient and effective manner. The position is based in the warehouse where you will be prepping, cleaning and pulling items for upcoming events, as well as onsite. On site, you will be the main crew involved in the setup and organisation and attending of the amusement products as well as the tear down including the loading, unloading and transport of amusements and other items. In this position you must be flexible with the scope of the duties involved, as certain divisions of Glow often come together at different times of the year for larger projects.

**Please note**:Equipment may include (but not limited to) a wide variety of Inflatables including bounce castles/ rooms, water pool sports equipment, obstacles, rides, games, concessions and catering equipment, fun food machines, large trucks, generators, and more. Events take place locally, but also include out of town assignments requiring longer travel and overnight stays.

**Job Duties**:
Scheduling and Staff Coordination:

- Assist in creating and managing daily schedules for amusement operations staff.
- Coordinate staffing levels based on event attendance and operational needs.

Safety Oversight:

- Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain and evaluate equipment regularly

Guest Experience:

- Collaborate with the amusement sales team to address and resolve guest concerns or inquiries.
- Monitor queue lines and attraction areas to ensure a positive guest experience.

Equipment and Maintenance Support:

- Review workorders thoroughly to ensure all supplies are included in pre-loads. Take a look at products going out beforehand to see if anything is missing
- Assist in coordinating routine maintenance schedules for inflatables and games.
- Communicate with maintenance teams to promptly address any technical issues.

Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory levels and ensure that any shortages are addressed in a timely manner to avoid any disruption in workflows.
- Manage and track inventory of operational supplies

Communication Liaison:

- Serve as a point of contact between amusement operations staff and management.
- Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in the development of company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives that support the company's mission and vision

Operational and Event Support:
Ensure that all operational activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner

Assist in the coordination of special events when required.

Ensure that all operational aspects align with event plans and schedules.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain operational processes and workflows to ensure that resources are used efficiently.
- Identify and address operational problems and inefficiencies, report these to the management team and suggest solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations and events.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in hospitality or related fields is a plus.
- Have preferably 1-2 years of experience in an amusement or an event setting involving children, large crowds or both.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of inflatables and their functions
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, d evenings as required.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Do you have a valid class 5 drivers license (required)
