Dishwasher/kitchen Helper

At Novotel Vaughan we want to create memorable experiences We are looking for an outgoing, friendly, and team-oriented Dishwasher / Kitchen Helper to join our team

**Flexibility to work nights evening and weekends.**
- Washing of all dishes, pots/pans, flatware and glasses
- Waste removal
- General cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment
- Daily delivery of food and supplies to employee cafeteria
- Assists in food preparation (vegetables, salads, and sandwiches)
- Buffet replenishment and clearing food items from the buffet
- Assists with kitchen mise-en-place
- Ensures all food items meet company standards
- Assists with daily operations of hot/cold production line
- Operates in accordance with all health and safety precautions and standards
- Cleans workstation at end of every shift
- Other duties as may be assigned

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to do the essential duties of the position
- Minimum experience required: 1 year
- Demonstrated pattern of good attendance
- Thorough and detailed oriented
- Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry and push continuously throughout an 8 hour shift
- Able to stay organized in a multi-task environment
- Able to understand and speak English
- Ability to work with independently with mínimal supervision
- Flexibility in shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays
