**What is Steamoji?**

**What are we looking for?**

Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building problem solving skills in young engineering minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the deployment of the Steamoji curriculum
- Contribute to company culture and Steamoji core values
- Review instructional videos before each session
- Teach up-to 16 apprentices to complete missions
- Assist in setup and clean-up
- Assist and guide apprentices during the making process of Steamoji projects
- Assist apprentices with tools and equipment and ensure safety in the process
- Create and share video artifacts and provide feedback to parents
- Work in schools and program facilities with kids age 5-16.

**Qualifications**:
High School, College/University Students seeking a part-time position working with children and learning basic technological skills in the process.
- Basic knowledge of coding and technology or ability to quickly pick up basic concepts
- Energetic, fun and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with children
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
- Team player who works well with others in a collaborative setting
- Interest in technology and willingness to learn basic coding

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 3 per week

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Working with children: 1 year (preferred)
- working with technology: 1 year (preferred)
