**Job Description**:
The Supervisor, Accounts Receivable is responsible for the timely and accurate operation of student accounts and the accounts receivable functions within the College. This position is responsible for systems, projects, and process improvements by implementing, administering, and maintaining the College’s accounts receivable systems. This position ensures the administration of accounts receivable and student accounts are in compliance with all government regulations and College policies and procedures, in particular to fee assessment tables, T2202 and T4A tax slip issuance, and other registrar policies. The Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of accounts receivables staff and performs other related duties or ad hoc projects, as required.

Qualifications Required:
Education & Experience
- Completion of a two (2) year diploma in accounting or relevant discipline and additional specialized courses related to general business management.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial accounting, reconciliation procedures, and bookkeeping processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of post-secondary admission and registration processes, financial aid processes, and tuition fee structures, a desirable asset.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills & Abilities
- Ability to communicate courteously and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and provide customer service to College personnel, students, external agencies, and members of the general public.
- Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing and assigning work.
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively with a minimum of supervision and within a team environment.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Keyboarding skills at 40 wpm.

Hours & Days of Work: 9:00am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday.

$30.67 - $35.14 per hour

Pay Grade:
