**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and maintaining accurate financial records for a few sets of books.
- Ensure the timely closing of the books, as well as timely GST, QST and corporate tax filings
- Assist with preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
- Maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger, using QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
- Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements using Syft Analytics
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations and laws
- Communicating with external accountants, property managers, and auditors as needed
- Assisting the executive team with various administrative tasks as required
- Organize and maintain files and documents
- Handle expenses and process invoices

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- CPA certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Excellent attention to detail, organized and attentive to details
- Proficient in English and French
- Experience in the accounting, finance, real estate or asset management industry is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
