- N-11-23The Pembroke Regional Hospital is seeking a Clinical Educator, Medical Transformation. This position is offered on a Temporary Full-Time basis.

The Clinical Educator, Medical Transformation demonstrates a comprehensive nursing knowledge base, exhibiting a high degree of clinical competence in caring for patients. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy and ED/ICU, the Medication Transformation Clinical Educator will collaborate with the Clinical Education Team in implementing and delivering projects to support continuous improvement. The work will be focused on providing training for the implementation of the new medication delivery systems throughout the hospital.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of a diploma in Practical Nursing
- Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurse of Ontario
- Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.
- Experience as a regulated health care worker.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment in a relevant capacity.
- Experience leading large organizational change including information system implementation and/or EMR products preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills including active listening skills.
- Highly organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause identification skills.
- Proven interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Highly proficient in using the Microsoft Suite of products and related other programs.
- Adaptable and flexible to change.
- Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution
- Knowledge of the Ontario health care system and its institutions is an asset
- Knowledge of Information Systems used in healthcare settings is an asset
- Ability to consistently demonstrate and promote personal and organizational values
- Strong organizational and time management skills and can effectively prioritize and adapt to shifting priorities and demands
- Flexibility in working independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment
- Good understanding of LEAN and Agile concepts and tools
- Thorough understanding of change management strategies and principles

**PREFERRED**:

- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Formal completion of post-degree courses or equivalent training on adult learning and teaching theories is an asset
- Recent teaching and leadership experience
