**JOB SUMMARY:
Ramp & Baggage/Cargo Attendants work under the direction of the BTW Manager

and/or Ramp Shift Leads to ensure all aspects of aircraft handling are completed

according to specific company policies & procedures. Safety, attention to detail, following

company procedures, and team work are key components to be a successful ramp agent. The

understanding and accepting of change. He/She must also be flexible and able to deal with

the adapting nature of aviation.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Sort, load, unload baggage and cargo from flights.

Service lavatories and potable water per company standards.

Connect, disconnect ground power/bridge power from Aircraft.

Marshall aircraft to and from gate, parking stands.

Wing walk arrivals and departures.

Operate belt loaders, baggage tractors and carts.

Complete daily inspection of operating equipment.

Complete equipment deficiency reports as required.

Perform de-icing operations (if certified).

Snow removal, equipment cleaning, housekeeping as required.

Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.

Actively participate in company safety programs.

Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.

Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.

Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.

Take direction from ramp leads, ramp manager, station manager and owner.

Other duties as assigned by management.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS**:
Must have valid driver’s license with clean abstract.

Must be fully vaccinated against the COVID19 virus.

Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.

Previous airline and/or freight handling experience would be an asset.

Must have excellent team player competencies.

Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.

Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.

Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:
**Retention Bonus (Year 1, 3, 5, etc.)**

$85.00 per year Protective Footwear Allowance.

PPE required is provided to employee.

50/50 Cost Share on all Uniform Pieces.

Paid Training.

**Access to staff flight travel benefits.**

RAIC Security Fee Deposit Required ($100.00).
