The Opportunity
Under the general direction of the Supervisor, Automation, this role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Automation team at Wolf.

Key Responsibilities
- Programming and configuration of software and hardware systems.
- Maintain Telecom for Corporate & SCADA network and all related equipment.
- Provide Level 1 telecom support as directed.
- Support Operations and Engineering with implementing continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in Automation continuous improvement projects.
- Control system technical support for system users.
- Participate in on-call schedule rotation 24/7/365.
- Support the maintenance of control system standards.
- Provide technical support for peripheral control center video and security systems.
- Assist Level 2 Telecom Support.
- Assist in planning and execution of facility turnarounds as required.
- Technical support for Field I/E and Measurement technicians.
- Assist and collaborate with Access IT team as directed.
- Travel will be required to remote locations and may require you to spend time in our camp on an as needed basis

Qualifications and Experience

**Skills**:

- Advanced computer skills
- Strong Interpersonal and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Note, Excel, Word)
- Consistently strive for personal growth and operational improvement including the ability to upgrade required skills and competencies.

**Education**:

- Successful completion of one of the following courses:

- Electronics Engineering Technology
- Instrumentation and Control Technology
- Instrumentation Engineering Technology
- Computer Engineering Technology
- Industry Related safety training - H2S and First Aid

**Experience**:

- 1+ year experience in automation or a related field
- Allen Bradley Controllogix or CompactLogix PLC’s
- CitectSCADA
- ATMOS leak detection
- Basic knowledge/experience of networking and wireless technologies would be an asset.
- Basic knowledge/experience with liquid measurement systems would also be an asset.
