The Cucina, or “The Kitchen” is the soul of Cioffi’s Group as it unites all of our exceptional products from the Deli and Meat Market to create delicious, natural, scratch-made meals for you and your family.

Our skilled chefs create delicious Italian fare-to-go such as veal parmigiana, arancini (risotto balls), lasagna, pizza, roasted free-range chickens and much more. The Cucina also makes traditional dishes with a unique twist, such as Braised Orange Pork Cheeks or Burrata Mac & Cheese.

Our sandwiches, like the Steamworks Beer Braised Shortrib Panino and our award winning Meatball Panino will keep you coming back for more.

We have new hot specials everyday and also cold prepared meals that are easy to grab-and-go, but most importantly delicious. Pop in on “Doughnut Fridays” for fresh baked salted caramel doughnuts or Saturday mornings for scrumptious apricot brioche.

We are looking for a talented Cook to join our growing team at Cioffi's Cucina As a cook in our Italian restaurant, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily food preparation.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food ingredients and supplies, and communicate any shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for new dishes or specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage of food items and equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including temperature control, proper storage, and labeling of food items.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Support and assist other kitchen staff as needed, including dishwashing, food delivery, and food service.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment, with a focus on Italian cuisine preferred.
- Solid understanding of Italian cooking techniques and familiarity with classic Italian dishes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent knife skills and the ability to execute precise and efficient food preparation.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality culinary experiences.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
