The Marine Life Education Presenter position is responsible for the delivery of all education programs for the Marine Life Department.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Delivering Marine Life Education programs, including exploratory programs, curriculum-based programs, and birthday parties.
- Providing program information to clients and liaising with existing groups on an ongoing basis.
- Researching and creating educational props for use in courses.
- Assisting with planning and delivery of spring, summer and winter Adventure Camps.
- Acting as an ambassador for the Sea Lion Shows.
- Delivering presentations and monitoring touch pools.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Must have excellent customer service, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.
- Experience teaching in a school, in a Zoo & Aquarium environment, camp or similar position is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point with the ability to easily learn different software programs.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR or willing to attend the required training.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This position requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday including days, evenings, weekend, and holidays. Position is full time, but part time applicants may be considered.
- Absolutely must have a valid Class 5 Drivers’ License and the ability to provide a clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
