Quality Assurance Coordinator

Health product manufacturer looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring that all products manufactured are in accordance with internal, regulatory, and customer quality management systems.
Perform in-process production line QA functions, monitoring product safety and quality, and personnel GMP practice.
Identify, investigate, and report any deviation to procedures, systems or standards and assist with implementing corrective actions.
Participate in compliance of Health Canada, NHPD, CFIA regulations, and customer’s requirements.
Participate or assist in external quality audits.
Perform and assist in administering internal and external lab testing and test result documenting and reporting.
Participate or assist in employee Quality training.
Inspect incoming raw materials and approve/reject.
Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science or related discipline preferred.
Experience in Food or Natural Health Food/Supplement Manufacturing environment.
Employment Type: Full Time (Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm)
**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
