Medcor Canada is looking for an experienced **Administrative Assistant - Accounts Payable/ Receivable** to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support.

Accounts receivable duties will include full cycle invoicing of projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, monitor and process incoming payments and post to Great Plains. They will own the collections management process to ensure all payments are made on time or escalated to the appropriate person and provide a monthly aging reporting to the President. The Administrative Assistant is also responsible for reconciling Workers Compensation across all provinces we work in on a quarterly and annual basis, creating content for Medcor Canada social media, and managing our online store.

They will be responsible for providing high-level, administrative support to all departments within the organization. This is a dynamic role that requires you are highly organized, are not easily overwhelmed, and are comfortable interfacing with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.

This position will back up and support the Staffing Assistant with time entry, employment lifecycle support through onboarding new employees, as well cross train with the Staffing Supervisor on recruiting, pre-hire paperwork, scheduling, flights, and accommodations. Fleet management assistance, when required, pick up/drop off employees at airport and assist with loading MTC’s.

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm in the Medcor Canada Corporate office in Ponoka, Alberta reporting to the Corporate Services Manager.

**Expectations, Duties, and Requirements**
- Produce accurate weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly invoicing by verifying job information including rates, timesheets, and expenses
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted in Great Plains
- Verify invoicing discrepancies and resolve client billing issues
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending statements to the clients and following up with regular communication
- Produce quarterly Workers Compensation payments in multiple provinces
- Verification of vendor invoices and managing accounts payable
- General office duties including main reception, record bi-weekly meeting minutes, filing, photocopying, picking up mail, sending orders and help keep the corporate office clean and presentable
- Back up position to our Staffing Assistant and cross training with Staffing Supervisor as outlined above.
- Create content for Medcor Canada social media pages
- Manage online store
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Education, Experience, and Other Requirements**
- Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable administrator
- Detail orientated with high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrates initiative to provide solutions and update process
- Resourceful and comfortable to learn systems and technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Aptitude for analytical process
- Customer relations experience strongly preferred
- Looking for proactive self-starter with a positive attitude

**Computer Skills**:
The advocate must be comfortable with technology and learning new software. Training will be provided but technological capacity is a must.

**Work Environment**:
This position is designed to be primarily a corporate office environment with a climate controlled and enclosed work area.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
