We’re looking for an **Underwriting Assistant **to join our growing **Auto** team This is a 12-month contract opportunity based out of Cambrid

**What you’ll do here**:

- Responsible for assisting Underwriters in rating, issuing, and determining terms and conditions of coverage specific to Auto Insurance - IRCA and Fleets.
- Assist in preparing certificates of insurance, entry of policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations.
- Submit information to underwriting systems.

**What you bring to the table**:

- Minimum 1-2 years Commercial Auto insurance-related experience preferred (IRCA beneficial).
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- CIP or working towards would be an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Analytical and judgment skills required.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.
- Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently.
