**Benefits Analyst - Canada**

**Job Purpose**:
Key role in providing both strategic and tactical support for Benefits management and administration. To support the proactive delivery of the Benefits agenda across the group through the provision of expert knowledge and advice. This includes providing insight on Benefits trends and providing expertise relative to the development of Benefits specific programs that have significant implications. Lead the design, implementation, communication, and administration of competitive Benefits programs, that align with the business strategy, goals and objectives of Fujitsu. The role reports to the Head of Reward and requires an individual who is analytical, keenly focused on maintaining efficient processes, and an experienced project manager with demonstrated TPA, vendor and people management skills who can work across functions to execute key change initiatives

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Evaluate and recommend changes to increase the effectiveness and competitive positioning of Benefits practices
- Recommends Benefits programs to management by studying employee requirements and trends, and developments in benefits offered in the market, working with broker and management as required
- Provide expert knowledge to assist in the selection, monitoring, and management of third parties and vendors to provide best-of-breed HR solutions and services
- Manage the day to day tactical operations and Benefits admin processes, including year-end audit cycle, utilizing the GDC and/or HR Shared Services to support day to day admin activities
- Resolving employee issues and escalations. Timely management of HRBP and stakeholder enquires
- Maintaining systems of record, and ensuring the accurate flow of information between systems, TPAs and vendors
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, obtaining qualified opinions, adherence to requirements and advising management on necessary actions
- Assist the Reward management team with developing KPIs and SLAs to monitor and evaluate third party vendors, GDC and/or HR Shared Services performance relating to delivery of Reward (Benefits) activities
- Develop communications strategy for key Benefits projects, planning and driving actions and tracking and delivering progress
- Ensuring the successful implementation of Benefits programs working with vendors, brokers, management and HRBPs
- Champion and coordinate Wellness initiatives
- Partner with training, communications, and systems colleagues to deliver processes to the HR community and the business
- Develop and sell ideas and solutions, able to persuade and influence effectively at an individual, team and executive level
- Create, maintain, and expand a network of productive relationships internally and externally
- Organize and oversee market analysis including participation in Reward (Benefits) surveys, and analysis presentation
- Help develop and reinforce Benefits philosophy across organization
- Coordinate and contribute to Benefits re-design processes
- Deliver analysis providing insight and analysis on trends to drive more informed HR/business decisions
- Develop timely dashboard reporting to support the management of Benefits programs
- Prepare analysis and presentations for leadership
- Represent the team on select corporate global initiatives
- Design and prepare ad hoc Benefits and budget related reports for management
- Provide HR Business Partners and line management with tools to support Benefits decisions
- Assist in developing new or modified HR work methods, approaches, or procedures for delivering effective HR solutions to clients

**Requirements**:

- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, HR or related field required; MA/MS/MBA degree in Business Administration, HR or related field preferred
- Bilingual in French and English
- 4+ years of progressive Reward/Benefits and/or HR/Finance experience and/or HR Consulting experience
- Experience in Reward/Benefits program design and/or Reward/ Benefits integration resulting from M&A
- Ability to design, implement and execute effective Reward / Benefits processes
- Excellent project and vendor/TPA management skills
- Technology experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience consulting with senior leaders and HR partners required. Strong consultative skills and the ability to build solid relationships with the management team, HR team, cross-functional internal partners and external providers/vendors
- Lead as well as participated in projects requiring analytical review and critical thinking
- Exceptional Analytical skills
- Effective communication skills, orally and in written form to a variety of audiences
- Has experience conducting research and participating in surveys on HR and vendor survey systems
- Ability to work independently and be proactive in a high performance environment, possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability
