The position is based remotely in Canada and will report directly to a Community Maps Lead.The Bilingual GIS Analyst works closely with a team of specialist responsible for producing the Community Map of Canada. The Community Map of Canada is a basemap of Canada built from authoritative data, collected closest to source and updated daily. Seamlessly created to one common specification, it provides unrestricted access to community maps and imagery across the country.The key responsibility of the Bilingual GIS Analyst is to actively engage, on an on-going basis, with Community Map of Canada data contributors and facilitate their data contributions and updates providing quality assurance and support.
