About the Team:
The Legal team is an integral part of AGF Management. The team is primarily responsible for providing legal, risk management and governance advice to all AGF business units and affiliates.

About this Role:
Working out of AGF’s corporate head office in Toronto and reporting to the Vice President, Associate General Counsel, you will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Legal Department.

About You:
You are a self-driven individual, interested in learning and gaining expertise within the Legal area, or expanding on your existing knowledge.

Your Responsibilities:

- Document management of both hard and soft copy files, including maintenance of file lists.
- General clerical administration: data entry, photocopying, scanning, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Prepare and coordinate materials for presentations and meetings (slides, agendas, and minutes).
- Processing invoices, cheque requisitions and expense reports.
- Other duties/projects as assigned by the Legal Department.

Your Qualifications:

- Successful completion of a related post-secondary program, i.e., Legal Assistant, Paralegal, and/or Law Clerk.
- Minimum of 1-2 years legal assistant experience is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- Superior organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external parties.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and non-routine information, with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong time management skills - including the ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple activities, and work well under pressure.
