Vercrop is looking for individuals with high potential who want to grow their careers with us.

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing professional to join our team. You will develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to increase our market reach and customer acquisition. You will also need to develop relationships with existing and potential customers and develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans. You should have a proven track record of success in developing and executing effective sales and marketing plans and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and passionate individual about the future of agriculture and technology. - Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Responsibilities**:
**Sales Duties**:

- Developing strategies to increase sales and market awareness of the farm's products.
- Keeps track of lost sales in the business system as required.
- Communicates effectively with and provides service to wholesalers and retailers in person or over the phone.
- responsible for building relationships with customers, managing the sales pipeline, and developing promotional campaigns to attract new customers
- be responsible for researching potential markets and identifying opportunities to increase sales
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Actively participate in continuous learning opportunities for sales and product packaging development.
- Effectively present, promote, and sell Vercrop products and services to existing and prospective grower customers.
- Should possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Help achieve business goals.
- Developing and executing a sale and marketing strategy for the company's products, services, and promotions
- generate leads, close deals, and build relationships with customers and partners.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members.
- Maintain a high level of business ethics.
- To stay up to date on industry trends and new technologies and have a strong understanding of market dynamics.
- Passionate about selling our products and services and have a proven track record of delivering results.
- Support the success of the sales team.
- Creating and executing marketing campaigns to attract new customers and build brand loyalty.
- Participate in industry associations, attend related conferences, building a network of customers, suppliers and partners.

**General Duties**:

- Develops and maintains an efficient, current file and record management system both for electronic and paper correspondence and documents.
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company policies, procedures and standards.
- Review job processes and practices to ensure continuous improvement in the company’s products, services, quality, and efficiencies.
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Sets an example for the staff of the dealership by arriving to work on time, leaving at the appropriate time, keeping appointments, respecting others’ time, and behaving professionally.

**Education & Experience**
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar position related to sales
- Experience in high-volume sales prospecting/lead generation
- Must have a working knowledge of Agricultural practices.
- Must be comfortable with current technology. Proficient with the following computer environments: Current Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
- Prior experience in sales and marketing is preferred, as well as knowledge of the Indoor vertical farming industry
- Open mind to new concepts and processes.
- University degree or College diploma in sales and marketing, management, agriculture, environmental sciences, business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- Sales Experience is preferred.
