**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Vigilantly monitor and surveil network elements using advanced Network Monitoring Systems (NMS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS).
- Provide fault management services, promptly responding to alarms, creating tickets, isolating faults, and escalating issues until resolution is achieved.
- Generate precise trouble tickets and operational reports to facilitate efficient problem-solving.
- Execute configuration and change management tasks, including testing network elements and overseeing change activities.
- Champion continuous process improvement initiatives to elevate service quality for our valued customers.
- Maintain an up-to-date operational knowledge base in collaboration with Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with platform specialists and Network Engineering to research, plan, and implement technical solutions, services, and systems.

**WHAT YOU NEED**
- Graduation from a college or University level technical program in electronics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer science, or IT.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including daytime, afternoon, and night rotations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in technical troubleshooting.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (testing will be conducted during the interview).
- A fast learner

**NICE TO HAVE**
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+.
- Familiarity with various satellite telecom technologies and hardware.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kanata, ON K2K 2A1: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
