**We are looking for an Advisor, DEIA and Indigenous Employment Strategy**
Reporting to the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Organizational Development, the incumbent will spearhead the development and execution of strategies, policies, and programs to foster equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA), as well as promote understanding and buy-in of EDIA initiatives within the Canadian Museum of History. The incumbent will collaborate with various departments to integrate EDIA principles across all facets of operations, work closely with stakeholders to embed these principles into practices and processes, and play a pivotal role in shaping and executing EDIA initiatives and projects. Additionally, they will champion accessibility compliance by diligently monitoring and evaluating the museum's adherence to accessibility standards and employment equity regulations, providing regular updates and actionable recommendations to senior management while also driving continuous improvement and transformation, ensuring the Museum remains at the forefront of EDIA innovation and excellence.

**Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience**:
- Working in EDIA roles and, preferably in a cultural or educational institution;
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to pilot new strategies, technologies, and methodologies;
- Developing tailored training materials and resources;
- Creating and/or managing platforms for knowledge-sharing and/or cross-departmental collaboration to facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas;
- Monitoring and evaluating progress through data analysis and feedback mechanisms and providing regular updates and communications to departments and employees as well as comprehensive reports to senior management.
**Knowledge of**:
- Transformation and change management;
- Project management principles;
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Canadian Human Rights Act, Canada accessibility act, Employment Equity act, Multiculturalism Act, and other policies, and frameworks related to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility in Canada;
- MS Office (Intermediate Word, PPT and advanced Excel).
**Education**: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as equity, diversity and inclusion studies, project management, business management, social sciences, education, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred.
**Compensation**: NU5 - $82,351 to $112,808
