**Job Overview**
The Assembly Line Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the assembly line on a day-to-day basis. This role involves overseeing the assembly line and team members, utilizing knowledge of materials, building various types of cabinets, and ensuring proper positioning of cabinets on the line. The Assembly Line Lead will also assist the manager in training new employees and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Assemble various types of cabinets according to specifications.
- Ensure the efficient and safe operation of the assembly line.
- Maintain a steady flow of assembly line production.
- Oversee the assembly line and all employees working on it.
- Assign work and provide instructions to team members.
- Coordinate the delivery of door fronts and drawer fronts with the Hinging Operator.
- Continuously perform quality checks to ensure cabinets meet company standards.
- Build specialty cabinets upon request.
- Train new employees on company standards and procedures.
- Assist in organizing and managing deficient cabinets along the line.
- Set up cabinetry tools and equipment.
- Perform precision work with hand or machine tools.
- Communicate with various departments to ensure complete jobs, set deadlines, and monitor the team's progress.
- Communicate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and assist in directing cabinets and various parts.
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or GED,
- 2 years of previous cabinet building experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of cabinet making practices, materials, and tools.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge in various cabinetry tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform precision work with hand or machine tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
- Understand and adhere to safety requirements, standards, and processes.
**COMPENSATION**:
- $24-26/hr depending on experience
