**Join Huer Foods as Assistant Controller in Langley, B.C.**
- Position Overview:_ In the role of Assistant Controller, you will assume a pivotal position within our finance team, responsible for the meticulous management of financial data, regulatory compliance, and indispensable support to our Controller in various facets of financial oversight. Your contribution will serve as an essential ingredient in the recipe of our continued success.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Collaborate in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor, maintain, and rigorously analyze financial records, ensuring both accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Engage cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide integral support to the Controller across diverse financial initiatives.
- Contribute to financial audit processes and fulfill compliance requirements in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Remain current with evolving accounting regulations and industry best practices.
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
- Qualifications:_
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Active pursuit of CPA certification is considered advantageous.
- A minimum of 4 years experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- A profound understanding of GAAP and foundational financial principles.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Adept in analytical thinking and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong focus on detail and organizational competencies.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: From $64,000.00 per year
